“Ready. Steady. Lets Pop! We’re POPKONSPIRASY!” 

A quartet pop band from Kuala Lumpur that is pop without conspiracy. The band was established in 2003 by lead vocalist Ceri and friends. The tunes they have written are infused with pop, punk and funk, but when asked what genre of music they play, POPKON prefer to leave their listeners to decide for themselves. After a few years of gigging around, they released a self-titled EP with 4 songs and have now come out with a brand new single “PELANGI”. Along the years, they have had the privilege to tour/play with famous Malaysian indie bands such as Hujan, Pesawat, Da Vagabonds, Bunkface, Oh Chentaku & more.

Their journey and struggle as an indie-band continues despites the challenges. Changes of line-up and other technical problems that they have faced will not defeat them.
